For the first year of Wenonah Cares, it was only natural that we partner with Project: Humanity. Co-founded by Friends of Wenonah alumni member Dan Chapman-Smith, Project: Humanity is a socially-engaged theatre company that uses the arts to bring together disconnected groups, to help people listen more compassionately, and catalyze meaningful change by inspiring active citizenship.
From Dan: "We commissioned a piece of art that was a collaboration between three of our youth mentees. A youth reading her poem with original music by another youth and the visuals of another youth painting. It's called "The Moment You Heal" (check it out).
